The Christmas Market of ‘’Mail Branly’’

The 7th arrondissment of Paris also offers its Christmas Market from 18 December to 6 January 2013 at Mail Branly, near the bridge of Iena, a few steps from the Eiffeil Tower. Many craftsmen offer their creations, which are original gifts under the Christmas tree. Come and enjoy delicious seasonal products, also gingerbread, mulled wine and roasted chestnuts.


The Christmas Market of ‘’Vedettes de Paris’’

The Christmas Village of Paris, settled at the foot of the Eiffel Tower on the banks, from 14 December 2013 to 06 January 2013. Twenty chalets await you from 11 :00am in the morning until 23 :00p.m. Come and discover the decorative items made by our craftsmen. While strolling through the paths, let you go to enjoy the inevitable mulled wine or nibble some roasted chestnuts. For children, go to Santa’s chalet where you can take a photo of your child and capture the moment.

jardins du Luxembourg : a little history…

Created on the request of Marie de Medici, the park that would become the jardins du Luxembourg was intended for the young prince Louis XIII, for his wild boar hunting parties. The park was later enlarged with the acquisition of a 26-hectare lot from the Chartreux convent, the gardens underwent several remodels over the years, making it possible to enjoy this part of our history in present times.
